About Sandy
Sandy Pasch currently represents Wisconsin's 22nd Assembly district, which includes Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Shorewood, River Hills, Glendale, and parts of Milwaukee.
A Milwaukee native, graduate of Bay View High School, and resident of Whitefish Bay since 1986. Her husband Allan - a Whitefish Bay native - is a physician specializing in general and vascular surgery. She also has three children - Lauren, Jimmy and Whitney - who all graduated from Whitefish Bay High School and are in various stages of higher education.
She has been a practicing nurse since 1976 and has served for 15 years as Assistant Professor of Nursing at Columbia College of Nursing, instructing students in the fields of community health and mental health.
Sandy has long been a proponent for treating mental health issues. She coordinated Milwaukee's Crisis Intervention Team and was the founder of the Crisis Intervention Partner program. She also served four terms as president of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Greater Milwaukee, a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental illness. In the Assembly, Sandy is the ranking member on the Joint Legislative Council and serves on the Assembly Committee on Health and Assembly Committee on Public Health and Public Safety. Sandy also serves on the Midwest Council of State Governments' Health and Human Services Committee, National State Legislatures' Health Committee, Wisconsin Women's Council, and State Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse.
